Senior QA Engineer (LA)

LOCATION: Rubicon Project HQ (West LA)

the Rubicon Project is on a mission to automate buying and selling for the $65 billion global online advertising industry. Backed by $60 million in funding, we are currently looking for the best QA engineers in the world to work with us in Los Angeles by taking it to the next level.

Responsibilities:

•     Perform test (regression, stress, whitebox, blackbox) for front end and back end products before released to public
•     Develop sustainable and scalable testing strategies for Rubicon Project systems
•     Create tools to increase efficiency of QA process
•     Create test plans, manage and execute test cases on all products
•     Contribute to automation of product testing
•     Work closely with product managers and software developers to report defects and verify bug fixes
•     Mentor other team members

Qualifications:

•     BS in Computer Science or Engineering
•     5+ years QA experience
•     2+ years with MySQL and Linux
•     2+ years programming/scripting experience – Java, php, perl
•     Proven ability to deliver bug free world class systems
•     Experience in testing both front end and back end
•     Experience with automated testing suites
•     HTML and JavaScript experience
•     Experience with testing both open source and enterprise technologies a plus
